This is what I propose for Sunday morning, 6am. It is the Norman Creek ride but with a continuation along the SE Bikeway to the top of "Taxation Hill" alongside Toohey Forest park. To quote a co-worker "it's a monster". Bring it on!!
Once we reach the apex we do an about-turn and sail all the way to South Bank! Here's a graphical representation of the peaks:
A variation is, if Emma is riding with us, we could ride her back to her house and then head down Park Road in Yeronga and down to the Corso and finish with a climb up Gladstone Road. I am really looking forward to this one - the last big one for me for the year, I think, so planning to give it all I've got getting up that big bloody hill. It should be fun (especially on the way back).
